AHK-Cu Copper Peptide Powder — Cosmetic Grade
Tripeptide-3 (AHK-Cu) — Copper tripeptide used in hair- and scalp-care cosmetic formulations.
AHK-Cu (Tripeptide-3) is a copper peptide used as a cosmetic active in hair- and scalp-care formulations. It is valued by formulators for products aimed at the appearance of a well-conditioned scalp and fuller, denser-looking hair.
Typically used at 0.1–1% in the aqueous phase (pH 5.5–7.5). Avoid strong chelating agents and alkaline pH above 8, which can destabilise the copper complex. Commonly used in leave-on scalp serums and tonics. Validate stability and safety in your own finished product.
Store at 2–8°C, sealed, away from light and oxidising agents. Avoid alkaline pH above 8. In products at pH 5.5–7.5, stability exceeds 24 months.

How to Use
Correctly incorporate Tripeptide-3 (AHK-Cu) into your cosmetic formula in three steps.
Dissolve in water phase
Dissolve at 0.1–1% in the aqueous phase at pH 5.5–7.5. Avoid strong chelating agents that can disrupt the copper complex.
Add in cooling phase
Add below 40°C after emulsification. Avoid alkaline pH above 8, as this destabilises the Cu complex.
Recommended use level
Use at 0.1–1% in your finished cosmetic formula — suited to leave-on scalp serums and tonics. Always run your own stability and safety assessment.
