Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our peptides, purity testing, shipping, and how to order. Can't find your answer? Email cusk20@proton.me.
What are cosmetic peptides?
Cosmetic peptides are short chains of amino acids used as active ingredients in skincare and haircare formulations. They signal skin cells to perform specific functions — such as boosting collagen production, relaxing expression lines, or supporting hair follicle density. cusk20 supplies these as pure raw powders for professional formulation.
Are cusk20 peptides tested for purity?
Yes. Every batch is tested by HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and we accept nothing below 99% purity. A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA) — including lot number, test date, purity result, and analytical method — is available for every product on request.
What certifications do your manufacturers hold?
Our manufacturing partners operate under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and ISO 9001:2015 certified facilities, with HACCP food-safety controls. These are the same quality standards used by pharmaceutical producers.
How should I store peptide powders?
Store lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide powder sealed in its original UV-protected aluminum foil bag, in a cool, dry, dark place. For long-term storage, keep below -18°C (freezer). Once reconstituted into a formulation, follow your formulation's stability guidance. Always keep away from heat, humidity, and direct light to prevent oxidation.
Who are your products intended for?
Our peptides are raw cosmetic active ingredients intended for professional formulation use only — by cosmetic formulators, cosmetic chemists, contract manufacturers, estheticians, and researchers. They are not finished cosmetic products and are not intended for direct application without proper formulation.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship to customers across the United States and Europe. All powders are packed in pharmaceutical-grade, UV-protected, resealable aluminum foil bags to prevent oxidation during transit.
How is the peptide packaged?
All powders ship in pharmaceutical-grade, UV-protected, resealable aluminum foil bags. This packaging protects the peptide from light and moisture, the two main causes of degradation during transit and storage.
Can I request a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
Yes. Email cusk20@proton.me with your product and, if you have it, your order or lot number, and we will send the matching batch COA.
How do I choose the right size?
We offer sizes from 20 g up to 1000 g. Smaller sizes (20–50 g) suit sampling and small-batch formulation; larger sizes (200 g and up) offer a lower per-gram cost for production runs. If you're unsure, start small and scale up once you've validated the ingredient in your formulation.
